'Everyday'

I've got a deep admiration for a guy who calls himself Beeple. Apparently, for the last 12 years he's done something 'Everyday' and as such has rapidly improved in the various applications and subjects he's decided on.

His statement:

"These pictures are all done from start to finish every day. The purpose of this project is to help me get better at different things. By posting the results online, I'm "less" likely to throw down a big pile of ass-shit even though most of the time I still do because I suck ass."

Mike Winklemann is a bit of hero of mine. For the past two months or so since the new year I've been struggling to do an everyday, and to be honest, I've failed nearly every week. With that said I've done a fair amount of work, and in that time I feel as though I've begun to improve already!

Here's some of the work I've done. If you'd like to see more of it, check out my instagram or my twitter for more!

Getting comfortable with procreate, studying some mechanical joints

More procreate experiments with drawing assist; wishing that it was in photoshop...

Procreate + photoshop. Trying to get better at scale

"These new smoke detectors are waaay too big"

"Alright buddy show me where it hurts..."

Things were progressing more quickly than anticipated.

Started experimenting with a more graphic style here, and learning about Smart Shapes in Procreate, which are game-changers for certain!

"The Jackship: Everything you don't need in a personal ship, when you need it most!"

Still love the homeworld ship design.

Experimenting with non-primitive shapes and perspective.

Re-work of an old ship design from a favorite old game of mine, Ares.

A Helium barge. Sort of inspired to do more ships that aren't necessarily military themed. Starting to feel more comfortable in procreate

Every time I use the program Alchemy I think to myself 'why don't I use this more often??'
Experiments with a new brush in Procreate

Guy in a coffee shop in Montpelier.

"The whole crew was shocked to find the entire state of Vermont orbiting Neptune"

Sometimes an automated surgeon isn't available...

"One day that'll be ours"

Experimenting with a different approach in photoshop...

After this I think its clear I need to do more color work...

The new 'Nacho' class cruiser was a departure from the standard designs that BALLS inc. typically produced.

Its about time VR developers get off their collective asses and start doing stuff for doggos amirite?

That takes me to the end of February. I've got a bunch of things I want to do in the future, but for now I'm hoping that I can do a daily for 3 consecutive weeks in February!
